Portia von Perth is a stunning, sensitive 2 year old German Shepherd. Sweet Portia has nursed her own litter of puppies and is now ready to be adopted into her dream home!  She is a playful and loving girl who is great with people and dogs alike. She enjoys spending time with her humans and having been around children ranging in age from toddler to teenager, she would make a great family dog. Portia is housebroken, has just discovered that toys can be lots of fun, walks well on a leash, is gentle when taking treats and enjoys the company of both the big and small dogs in her foster home. Quiet and well-mannered in the house, Portia will bark when someone comes to the door. Mid-energy Portia loves to go on walks and would make a great hiking partner, yet she is just as happy lounging at your feet while you work or watch TV. She responds well to positive reinforcement and learns very easily so she would do great learning new commands. Most of all, Portia is a love bug - she will lay her head on your lap and look at you adoringly as you pet her or rub her tummy. Portia loves to just spend time with her humans and cannot wait to find a family of her very own. (she would do best in a home with no cats)
